These pipes have been used to culvert the small stream, once a mill race for the smallest of Grandrif's mills, to provide extra land for a more gentle slope.
A wall of large rocks was constructed and
filled.
It was necessary to extend a culvert that passes
under the road at this point.
The edge of the road is re-aligned and the wooden
barrier reinstated.
